Good evening folks, I am so tired I may just fall over into the keyboard...so if you see something that looks something like this:
jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj////////////////////////////................................jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
well, don't say I didn't warn you. I did manage to finally get enough energy to get in the shower today. Tough, I know...I ended up just sitting down and letting the water fall. I really feel THAT miserable. I should have kept count of how many times I sneezed today; if I had to make a guess, I would say somewhere around150-200. No joke!!! I did count once, and I sneezed 17 times in a row. That is insane!!!
Anyway, I had to drag myself out to get some necessities tonight. We were out of just about everything, and when I realized that Rowan was out of his meds, and I had NO cold meds for myself, well...that was enough to get me up and moving.
First, I hit Walgreen's. They had 120 count Puffs tissue on sale for 89 cents, so I decided it would be smart to go there. Also, they had Crest toothpaste 2/$3, and I had 2 $1 off coupons, so I got them for 50 cents! Yay!!!! Hey this all adds up when you are sending it overseas to the troops! Take note people, go get your toothpaste!!!
Well, then I went to Wal-Mart. My intentions were to be in and out quickly, as it was almost Rowan's bedtime. I needed the following: diapers (oh yeah, for the first time, I RAN OUT!!! I DO MEAN OUT!!!!) milk, eggs, bread, butter, cold meds. What I ended up with was much different, and my receipt looked something like this: all of the items above + bananas, pears, strawberries, yogurt, sausage, Bologna (for the dogs), mild cheddar block cheese, 2 boxes of Ritz Bits crackers (for Rowan), 5 jars of Gerber meat sticks, 2 things of tortellini (chicken, cheese), 2 12 packs of Pepsi, 24 pack of Diet Coke, and I can't recall what else. Insanity, and this is why I hate Wal-Mart!!!
I just took some Ny-Quil, and I have no idea how this will effect me tonight. I am hoping it knocks me on my butt, so long as I don't sleep so soundly that I don't hear my son when he wakes up (and notice I say WHEN, not IF, because my one year old does not sleep through the night when he is NOT sick either!!!).
At that, it is nearing 10:00, and I am going to hit the sheets. Rowan is asleep, hopefully it stays that way, and I may just happen to run across a bottle of wine on my way upstairs! Good-night!
