Unlike what is depicted on television, there is little glamour in the life of a real Army wife. NOTE TO READERS: MONEY SAVING SITES THAT I USE ARE LISTED ON THE BOTTOM OF MY PAGE.

About Me
- A
- Life unexpectedly changed at the beginning of the year. I was a proud, supportive military wife, and work-at-home mom. I had big dreams for my family, hoped to expand our little fam, and anticipated moving across the country to FINALLY have my family together after two long deployments to Iraq. Shortly after the move, however, my world changed. The man that I watched board the plane TO Iraq didn't come home on the return flight to the United States. In his place was a man I didn't know & didn't recognize... Thus began this new, hectic & crazy life of a single, working mommy. I barely have time to take a shower and brush my teeth, so my posts may be few and far between...but I hope to get my story out there! GOD BLESS
Thank you for visiting!
Thank you for visiting my blog. When I started this blog last year, my husband had just left for his second deployment in Iraq, and I was left to raise our baby on my own. I found that blogging gave me a voice, and outlet if you will. Many thanks to those of you who have been faithful readers over the last year.
I took the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace class at the beginning of the year, and decided to make some changes in our lives...particularly with our spending habits. My husband, friends and family have all been very crucial during this experimental time; thank you for supporting me!
One thing that I have added to my life is COUPONING!!! I love it!!! I think I am slowly becoming an addict. Really... I have learned to be more careful and wise about my spending habits, and it is a great feeling to know I am doing somethin to help my family!!! I put a lot of time into finding the best deals. The links on my blog are where I go most often to find the best buys, and new coupons. Please check them out too!!!
